When approaching Arthog from the Dolgellau direction (A493 heading in the Fairbourne and Tywyn direction)

• Descend a steep hill (14%) (Arthog Hill).
• Pass over a small single lane bridge.
• Pass sign for 'Arthog Hall' on your left.
• Go round a sharp left hand bend.
• Look for a green corrugated hut on your right hand side and turn right here (MYD sign in banking on your left).
• Pass through three gates and the last set (black gates) is Min-Y-Don.

From the Tywyn/Friog/Fairbourne direction

• Enter Arthog and pass Morfa Mawddach train station on your left.
• Pass a terrace of cottages on your right.
• Continue along road and come to another terrace of cottages.
• Almost opposite the end cottage is a green corrugated hut.
• Turn left.
• Pass through three gates. The last set (black gates) is MYD.
